Vinyl sheet flooring
Vinyl floorcovering is very hard wearing but it must be laid onto exceptionally smooth floors such as as hardboard, ply wood or screed. This is because it will show up the "slightest" particle of grit, floor board gaps or pits. These tend to wear through the back and break an otherwise perfect protective surface if the floor is not prepared properly. Tony Mustoe's fitters will do this floor preparation work for you which will be offered as part of your quote.
Some vinyls come with a backing that will tolerate minor floor imperfections, meaning you can save on floor preparation costs - ask us to show you samples.
